- Abstract / Summary
- (Composer's Notes) Seasons Pass is the soundtrack for men for all seasons. 1. Stuck In Spring: As winter’s wind passes another scent of safe promise is upon us. Leaves blossom a glorious new Spring. Yellow/green tulip blossoms sway gently in the shadows awakening to those April days. The rain that comes, it cleanses like April days known long ago. The breeze, the future and destiny, it teases us. 2. Raising Summer: Don’t let summer pass too quickly. Instead, slowly, slowly, year after year do not rush through youth too quickly, leaving no memory to look back on. Look down a street you’ve looked down before, the same street when it was new. See buildings when they were new; when children were young and new and just starting out; when you were young and new, and just starting out. 3. Fooling Fall: Change is inevitable. The crime is in the forgetting. 4. Winter’s Wind: It passes quickly, darkly, impatiently blowing round a corner to a new neighborhood of dreams. 5. Seasons Pass: There’s a distant echo of Spring, a time to reflect. Remembrance is the key redemption.
